Thursday (12/5/1895) -- Thomas Bennett, died at his home on East First Street this afternoon, aged 54 years.  His wife and son, James Bennett, survive him.  Mr. Bennett formerly resided in Mt. Vernon, but was a resident of Mansfield the past year.  He was a volunteer in Co. G., 88th. Ohio, recruited at Ashland.
